About the Fayetteville Dinner Theatre

The Fayetteville Dinner Theatre has returned to Fayetteville and Cumberland County after a 35-year hiatus. Formerly known as the Bordeaux Dinner Theatre the new FDT has been resurrected by local businessman, newspaper publisher and entrepreneur Bill Bowman and is being herald as “Fayetteville’s newest and most unique theater experience.” Defined, this means a full evening of fun and entertainment that includes much, much more than great theater performed by talented professional actors. Each FDT experience begins a with a “Meet & Greet” reception and wine-tasting hosted by Gates Four County Club with all proceeds donated to Cumberland County education through the Kidsville News Literacy and Education Foundation (501c3) that provides reading and educational resources for local children and teachers. Each evening performance includes a welcome reception, full service bar, three-course duel-entrée dinner created and served by the talented staff at Gates Four Country Club while guests relax and enjoy preshow entertainment. There are always plenty of prizes and surprises including a post-show meet-and-greet with the actors.

“With an awesome show, talented actors, a preshow reception, a great dinner, door prizes, entertainment all culminating with a post-show meet-and-greet we strive to provide ‘a very unique dinner theatre experience’” said FDT producer Bill Bowman. “It’s all about providing local theatre audiences what they pay for. Awesome entertainment at a great value. No longer do Fayetteville audiences need to go out of town to Raleigh and Greensboro for a good dinner theater experience. This is what we want to provide them.”

Tickets range from $75/$85 per person with special discounts for Seniors 65+ and active duty military. Group discounts are also available.
